GRASS Continues Awareness Activities Surrounding Establishment of TVET Training Center

As part of the ongoing GRASS Awareness activities surrounding the establishment of the Technical and Vocational Training Center in Lower Buchanan’s Moore Town Community, the event transformed into a heartfelt celebration of gratitude to the Almighty for such a remarkable opportunity. The initiative was hailed as a blessing for the youth of Grand Bassa County, many of whom have long been disadvantaged due to limited access to technical training—often resulting in missed employment opportunities with companies operating along the county’s borders.

Faculty members and students expressed sincere appreciation to the European Union for its generous funding of the project.

In a related development, the Beesaymah Community warmly embraced the plan to construct the training center, recognizing its potential to empower young people across the county. Community elders pledged to promote the initiative and encourage others to take full advantage of this opportunity, which they believe will significantly enhance manpower development in Grand Bassa.

Additionally, one participant noted that the center will contribute to improving the local economy and extended thanks to the European Union for its continued support to the Liberian Government.
